As a performance management and process improvement strategist, he designs solutions for Gallup clients that produce economic, bottom-line value. His consulting insights have helped Gallup’s hospitality, retail and real estate clients boost their organizational performance by improving employee performance and increasing customer engagement.

Lorenzo is one of the firm's thought leaders in the areas of human capital maximization, communications strategy and individual development and achievement. As a lead strategist, Lorenzo has conducted in-depth research into the behavior of customers and employees. This focus has earned him a reputation as an expert in the areas of individual achievement, employee engagement, customer engagement, and strategic communications.

Lorenzo has more than 20 years of business experience; he spent 10 of those years starting new business enterprises and repositioning under-performing business units. This background, along with his ability to implement innovative performance improvement solutions, makes Lorenzo one of Gallup’s most sought-after consultants.

Prior to joining Gallup in 2002, Lorenzo was vice president and general manager of Marriott’s corporate housing brand, ExecuStay by Marriott, in New York, New Jersey, and southern Connecticut. Lorenzo was also responsible for the start-up of ExecuStay by Marriott in New York; under his direction, he grew the brand’s annual revenue to more than $50 million in less than 3 years. Lorenzo was credited by Marriott’s leadership for establishing innovative revenue and cost-saving programs, and his successful management solutions were implemented throughout Marriott enterprises nationwide.

Lorenzo is a participant in the Wharton Fellows Program at the University of Pennsylvania, a management think tank that meets regularly to analyze and address timely business issues. He received his MBA from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University, and a Masters of Science Degree in Strategic Communications from Columbia University in New York City.n
